The relations between Chandrababu and Congress is well known. In a way till the rise of YSR and to be precise, the rise of Jagan Mohan Reddy, there was only political but no personal rivalry between Naidu and the leaders of Congress party in the United AP.
But later with TRS and YSRCP emerging as big forces, TDP had to face the ire on a daily basis while differences became personal rivalries. On the other hand, this has been a time of political realignment in both Telugu speaking states now and in AP, TDP naturally has the upper hand.
Jagan strongly are moving towards him
But some equations of Jagan is not working out because those considered still close to Congress are taking the TDP route instead of YSRCP. Only those who are getting attracted to Jagan strongly are moving towards him. It was the turn of former minister Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad recently.
After him, it is now the turn of a popular leader, Amanchi Krishna Mohan, considered a follower of Rosaiah in Prakasam district. The independent MLA of Chirala joined TDP with his cadre and vowed to support Naidu in all the developmental activities. Interestingly, he claimed that he has come into TDP with the blessings of veteran Congress man and current TN governor, Rosaiah.
