Many right thinking people are now wondering whether staunch Telanganites will accept Manchu Lakshmi who was appointed as Brand Ambassador for Swachch Bahrat in Telangana will accept her. In the united state even for small appointments, Telanganaites used to dig deep into their origins and blasted why Governments couldn't find Telangana people for the appoinmtments. During that time they claimed that once Telangana is formed,all the posts will go to people of the region.

However even after the division of the state, Union Government, appointed Mohan Babu's daughter Manchu Lakshmi as Swachch Bharat brand ambassador. It is known that Manchu Lakshmi is best friend of CM KCR's daughter,Nizamabad MP Kavitha.
It has to be seen how Telanganites react to Manchu Lakshmi's appointment. Some say this may result in new controversy but others say since Kavitha shares good relations with Manchu Lakshmi,there will not be any differences.
