I cannot decide on my political debut and it is only based on what people demand and I will go by what people say. Behold, this is not the statement of some random political leader but that of revolutionary balladeer Gaddar, who is known for being a vocal people’s leader for decades.
The former naxalite turned intellectual has always maintained distance with TRS chief KCR even during the peak of separate Telangana agitation due to ideological reasons. It is said that Gaddar and Vimalakka were sidelined by TRS administration completely due to this distance with KCR.
Now all eyes are on Warangal Lok Sabha by poll to be held in next few months for which every party, including TRS is unable to decide on a right candidate. There are many contenders in Congress but no one is willing to spend huge sums as victory is not assured anyway.
Gaddar reportedly told them
No one understands why TDP is confident of contesting. But after communists’ request, Gaddar reportedly told them that if all opposition agrees he may consider the offer of contesting as joint candidate against TRS. Congress leaders say off the record that Gaddar may be only hinting at them to request him more!
