ndia is celebrating Teacher's Day today on Sep 5th,as a mark of respect to its former President Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan who was a teacher by profession.
Various programs are conducted by educational institutions and Government of India honoured the best teachers from across the country. PM Modi released Rs 125 coin in honour of Dr.S.Radha Krishnan, second President of India.
He then interacted with central school students at Zorawar hall,Manekshaw centre in New Delhi. During his interaction he received huge shock when a kid questioned how can Modi's dream of Digital India be achieved when many parts don't have power supply.
Modi who was stunned regained his composure and promised to provide uninterrupted power supply to entire nation by 2022.
