The AP government has made an announcement on Thursday that both students and employees who are planning to shift to Vijayawada or rest of the state of Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad and Telangana regions by June 2, 2017, will be offered local nativity.

The government would reportedly be clearing the issue after receiving a formal from the Centre. The decision was reportedly taken at a marathon AP cabinet  chaired by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Ministers Palle Raghunatha Reddy and K Atchennaidu later briefed the media on the Cabinet meeting.

AP government would be reportedly approaching

AP government would be reportedly approaching the Centre for a Presidential order regarding the nativity status, in case it is necessary. This crucial Cabinet decision would eliminate a big objection that the AP government employees are having.

They had been raising this issue to avoid shifting from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. Many feel that except for elite Andhras and migrant labourers, middle class Andhras who would be concerned about their children’s future may leave Hyderabad for good by then!
