The Hyderabad traffic police have reportedly advised people travelling through Khairatabad junction to take some of the alternative routes during day’s peak hours because of the ongoing metro rail work, which is expected to continue for around three more months at this busy junction. People are expected to have harrowing time from today!

 

The traffic police have suggested that the road-users can make use of their regular routes while traversing the Khairatabad junction during the non-peak hours, but when it is during peak hours, they are being suggested alternative routes. Motorists arriving from Shadan College,the Nirankari junction towards Banjara Hills, Punjagutta and Ameerpet need to take the road through Chintal Basthi, Road No.1, Banjara Hills followed NFCL, Punjagutta X Roads.

 

Commuters coming from Necklace Road Rotary  as well as Secretariat towards Banjara Hills, Anand Nagar Colony are being advised to take the Raj Bhavan Road followed by the Metro Residency, KCP, Taj Krishna and finally Banjara Hills. Vehicles from the Necklace Road anbd Secretariat towards areas like Punjagutta and Ameerpet can choose Raj Bhavan Road, Metro Residency and finally Punjagutta X roads.

 

Commuters from the side of Anand Nagar Colony to Punjagutta or Secretariat at Khairatabad might have to choose Venkatramana Colony , KCP junction, Ansar Manzil, Metro Residency and Khairatabad flyover. Traffic from Anand Nagar Colony towards Lakdi-ka-pul is being diverted through Venkatramana Colony, Care Hospital in Banjara Hills and Masab Tank.
