TDP Telangana Committee head L. Ramana has recently announced that the TDP will be continuing its alliance with BJP for the upcoming GHMC elections. Although the TDP and BJP have been allies in Telangana and AP from 2014 polls, alliance continuation was doubtful.
While Telugu Desam Party workers are vowing that they won’t sleep until the party storms back to power in Telangana, Kishan Reddy has been hobnobbing again with TDP leaders. Both parties are launching massive meetings across the state.
Naidu and he developed Hyderabad
All this fresh bonhomie is being seen thanks to KCR who has ensured that the speaker suspends everyone from Assembly. While TDP leaders are saying that IT companies from all over the world was brought by Naidu and he developed Hyderabad, BJP leaders are also cheering them.
Both parties feel that farmers in Telangana trusted KCR initially but they have now lost faith in the TRS government and are hence committing suicide in droves. TDP and BJP leaders are touring Telangana and distributing ex-gratia to the families of those farmers who have committed suicide.
