Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Andhra Pradesh on October 22 for laying the foundation stone of the state's new capital Amaravati. The day-long visit to AP has reportedly been finalized. According to the officials, Modi will be reaching Gannavaram airport near Vijayawada.


This would be by means of special aircraft at 11.45 a.m., following which the PM would leave for Uddandarayunipalem situated in Thullur mandal of Guntur district. Here he would be participating in the foundation stone ceremony. The prime minister will be reaching this venue at 12.35 p.m. and take part in the 'puja' which would also have the presence of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu as well as other central and state ministers.


Modi will also be launching an ebrick portal


Senior officials from Singapore and Japan are expected to attend. A film on Amaravati would be screened at this ceremony, including few cultural programmes. Modi will also be launching an e-brick portal for receiving donations for the construction of new state capital.


The prime minister will also be felicitating the farmers who had donate their lands for the capital. Modi will finally return to Gannavaram airport at 3.05 p.m. for flying to Tirupati. He will be reportedly landing at the Renigunta airport by 4 p.m. and then reach the temple town through road. The prime minister will be having a 'darshan' at Tirumala temple before he takes up flight to Delhi at 7.30 p.m.
