With the fast unto death of YSR Congress party leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for special category status to Andhra Pradesh becoming the talk of the day among the people, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is now having all hopes on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


Naidu is reportedly hoping that the PM would make some positive announcements regarding the same when he would be coming the foundation laying ceremony on October 22.  Naidu is currently holding a Cabinet meeting at Vijayawada which includes making an appeal to Modi for making announcements on special category status.

Modi will be arriving at the airport at 11.45 am on October 22nd after which he would be driving straight to venue for the foundation to be laid. The Prime Minister will then leave for Tirupati and after the darshan of the Lord Venkateswara, he will be leaving for Delhi same day at 7.30 pm.


Naidu has reportedly instructed his ministers to come prepared with a detailed report for the requirement of funds for respective departments, which would be given to the Prime Minister. Babu feels that Modi would be making a statement that can get some cheer to the ruling TDP!
