There is a famous proverb that says 'Face is the index of Mind'. That is absolutely a true factor. Whenever people speak lies, they don't see into their eyes. It is an indication that they are either unhappy are they are just lying to you. Eye blocking is powerful display of consternation, disbelief or disagreement.
Eyes do speak a lot. If the opposite person squints at you, that means they are amazed that you believed their disbelief. Some times to send quick signals we raise our eyebrows. This helps to draw more attention to the face. We do this quite often.
