On May 29th the IPL final match was held between Sunrisers and Royal Challengers, where Sunrisers has emerged as the champions of Vivo IPL 2016. They have sealed an eight run victory on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bangalore tonight. Winning the toss Sunrisers chose to bat first.
Sunrisers decision did not go wrong as the team has managed to set an astronomical target of 209 runs to RCB and Warner has stolen the show with magnificent 69 in just 38 balls by cutting with 39 and Yuvraj with 38 contributed well on their part setting the titanic target for RCB.
RCB's beginning is destructive, where Gayle and Kohli pulverized Sunrisers bowlers with their first wicket partnership of 114. From then on fall of wickets in regular intervals took place and Gayle has scored an amazing 76 in just 38 balls whereas Kohli made 54 in 35 balls and RCB's winning chances turned bleak.
The winners has received the prize money of Rs.15 crores while the runners got Rs.10 crores and cutting received 'Man of the Match' award. Virat Kohli, who has scored highest score 973 in the league, has won Orange Cap.
