Indian Cricket team is right now touring Zimbabwe for three ODI's and three T20I's. Now a leading website said that one of the Cricket player has been arrested on rape charges in Harare.
The other two accused were identified as Krishna Satyanarayan, who is associated with ITW Sports, and Rajkumar Krishnan, a Zambia-based businessman. Satyanarayanan is working as a consultant for iTeam Works which is an affiliate company of ITW.
Satyanarayanan and Krishnan were staying at Meikles Hotel where the rape had occurred. This hotel also houses Indian Cricket team and that lead to speculation that one of the Indian cricketer was also active on the incident. But the report was dismissed by officials.
Most of them said they have spotted Satyanarayanan at the ground as well as inside the hotel on many occasions. A young player said, "Thank God. It's done and dusted. Some of us didn’t even know something like this had happened. So when we started getting calls from back home, we were shocked." Meanwhile today India takes on Zimbabwe on the second T20I.
