In the Dharmasala decider team India scored 248 runs on the second day at stumps loosing 6 wickets thus trailing by 52 runs. Aussie bowler Nathan Lyon who took the responsibility in the last session of the day took 4 crucial wickets that included Pujara, Rahane, Ashwin and Nair.


Murali Vijay was dismissed earlier by Hazle wood while the other opener K.L.Rahul scored a brilliant half century. Rahul scored 60 runs of 124 balls. The century hero in the third test Chateshwar Pujara continued his form in the final test also. Pujara scored 57 runs before falling to Lyon. Pujara and rahane stiched up a partnership of 87 runs. Rahane who fell short of 4 runs for his fifty was sent back to the pavilion by the magical spinner Lyon. Ashwin was trapped to Lyon for 30 runs.


 Ravindra Jadeja clobbered a couple of sixes and was batting on 16 at the close, while Wriddhiman Saha was on 10, having survived two reviews and a dropped catch. Pat Cummins and Hazle wood were on fire in the morning session as the pitch was in favor of the seamers.


Still trailing by 52 runs, one have to wait and see how well it can get on on the third day as the pitch in the  first session of play helps the fast bowlers.
