Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup beans, peas, carrot, cauliflower, potato…. each
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • 1 capcicum chopped
  • 1/4 cup boiled peas
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 6-8 pavs


Method:

  • Boil beans,peas, carrot, cauliflower, cabbage, potato all together and mash them.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan. Add mustard and jeera. Put onions , fry a little.
  • Add tomato puree and a little water.
  • Add pav bhaji masala, garam masala, chat masala, red chilli powder and keep stirring till nicely mixed. It will take 5-7 mins.
  • Add capcicum and fry a little.
  • Add mashed vegetables and boiled peas. Add salt and mix well.
  • Add butter and lemon juice.
  • Now bhaji is ready .
  • Cut the pavs from the center into two. Put butter and bake on tawwa until light brown.
  • Serve with bhaji and chopped onions and green chillies…
