Ingredients:
  • 1/2 hot pepper, finely sliceda bunch of parsley, finely chopped
  • 200 g potatoes, grated
  • 2 big carrots, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g fish fillet
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oil for frying


Method:

  • A bowl mix the hot pepper, parsley, carrots, garlic and the grated potatoes.
  • Cut the fish fillet in small pieces, then add it over the vegetables and mix.
  • Then add the eggs, olive oil and breadcrumbs, season with salt and pepper to taste and mix.
  • The next step is to lightly shape and pat into circles about 2cm thick.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  • Fry the fish cakes over a medium heat for about 5 mins on each side or until crisp and golden.
  • Serve warm. Enjoy!
