Accordingly Renault unveiled Triber in india. The 7-seater vehicle will be manufactured at the company's Chennai plant. Built on the car maker's latest generation modular platform, Renault Triber will be launched in the country in the second half of 2019. Powering Renault Triber will be a 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre petrol engine that makes 72 PS and 96 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed Easy-R automatic transmission.
The upcoming 7-seater will have safety features like ABS and EBD, four airbags, 3-point seat belts, rear parking sensors and camera, speed alert system and driver and co-driver seat belt reminder.
Expectations are that Renault Triber might be priced in india between Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). However, we can be sure about the price of the vehicle only when the company comes out with an official announcement.
