Sources have stated that Emojis are very much a part of our daily life now. We convey our joy, affection, sorrows and many more of such emotions on social media with the help of these emojis. In short, these emojis represent our feelings in the world of social media. With social media and their virtual emojis turning out to be an integral part of our life, Maruti Suzuki takes the league into a different level. The company’s latest offering, Ignis, is now the first ever car in India to get its own personal Twitter emoji.

Meanwhile the idea of making an emojis on trending branded hashtags was pioneered by Bridget Harvey, who is a senior manager in the strategy team of Twitter. According to her statements, the idea of making Twitter emojis more popular was born out of the time when Star Wars was trending on the social platform in 2015. She has even claimed that emojis are loved by everyone around. Hence, the impact of a post or tweet with an emoji is far greater than without.

The Ignis was initially scheduled to catapult during the festive season of 2016. However, the production restraint faced by Maruti Suzuki considering the production and waiting time of Baleno and Vitara Brezza further pushed the launch to a later date and personalised emojis were also used by international entities like the Detroit Motor Show. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis emoji is auto generated and is automatically included in tweets or retweets with #Ignis.
