According to sources Ford has taken the wraps off the face lifted Figo sedan. Not to be confused with the made for India Aspire compact sedan, this Figo is a larger derivative that is manufactured at Ford’s Sanand plant in Gujarat, solely for export abroad.
Meanwhile as part of the mid-cycle update, the Figo sedan gets cosmetic tweaks to the exterior and interior. Changes on the outside include larger headlights and a new front grille with a chrome surround. Moreover at the back, the sedan gets a restyled bumper with a blackened lower portion to give it a dual-tone look. Furthermore the enhancements inside the cabin include a redesigned dashboard that also sees the addition of a 6.5-inch touch screen infotainment system.
Moreover this system comes with Ford’s Sync 3 tech,
as well as Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility and the touch screen
is not available in all markets though. Moreover the Figo sedan also sees
substantial revisions under the hood. New to the Figo sedan are 1.2-litre and
1.5-litre three cylinder petrol engines from Ford’s new Dragon family.
