As per the definition of true cook, a cook is one who never follow the recipes. The cook see what is available, chooses the best ingredients and make something from those. This is how Indian mom's have been better cooks. 


Most of us don't know about the medicinal value of 'Curry Leaves' which we used in our day to day food. 'Curry Leaves' is the colonial name which is found in sub-continent. They are used only in this part of the world. Even in North India it is used to have against the smell. 


But most of us don't know the benefits. They are a rich source of iron and folic acid (which helps the body absorb iron). They counter anaemia. They also control blood sugar levels. Curry leaves can protect one from heart disease. 


They also accelerate hair growth, prevent skin infections and above all they are instrumental in weight loss. In Ayurveda they are also used anti-diabetic medicine. The in take along with the food is what matters.
