Do you know everyone's skin tone breaks down into two color families "Warm" and "Cool" where Warm has yellow undertones, and Cool has ping undertones. Once you determine your skin tone, you will have a much easier time honing in on the most flattering makeup shades, which basically fall into the pink or peach family.
Follow these 3 tests to know your skin tone:
- Try on a gold bracelet and a silver one. Which looks better? if it's gold, you are warm, and if it is silver you are cool.
- Take something orange and something pink, like a scarf or a towel and drape it around your head. If the pink looks better against your skin, you are cool, you are warm otherwise.
- Take a look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. Are they blue? Then you're cool. Are they greenish? You're warm.
