Uttar Pradesh cabinet has cleared the proposal of providing a subsidy to the proposed food park of the Patanjali Group in Greater Noida. The cabinet meeting chaired by Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi adityanath on tuesday gave its nod to provide land subsidy to yoga guru baba Ramdev-promoted Patanjali Group.

 

The statement issued by the state government said that the proposed food park will bring investment, generate employment opportunities, and will also help the farmers in the state. Patanjali is proposed to invest Rs 6,000 crore in setting up a mega food project park along the yamuna Expressway.

 

The state government earlier had given subsidy to Patanjali ayurveda limited and out of 455-acre of land allotted, 9 acre was transferred to its subsidiary for setting up food park. Now, after getting clearance from the cabinet, subsidy will also be given to its subsidiary Patanjali Food and Herbal Park.
