UK), the leader in standards compliance, automated software verification, source code analysis and test tools, today announced Embedded Safety and Security Summit 2016 on 8 – 9 June 2016 at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru. This second edition of this highly successful conference will be themed, “Inspiring Safe and Secure Designs”, and will have a wider industry focus. 


With an aim to build a comprehensive and common embedded knowledge arena, ESSS 2016 will provide a two day conference focusing on six different industry verticals– 

Day 1: Aerospace and Defence; Automotive; Medical

Day 2: Embedded System Security; Rail; Energy  


ESSS was first run in June 2015 as a part of a larger LDRA industry initiative – CEDP (Certification Ecosystem Development Programme). CEDP intends to establish an ecosystem for safety and security practices which encourages world-class embedded designs, originating from India, for industries such as: Aerospace and Defence, Nuclear, Automotive, Security, Rail, Medical, Industrial, etc. Ian Hennell, Operations Director at LDRA said, “In today’s scenario our activities in India play an increasingly important role within the LDRA global family. ESSS 2015 had over 700 attendees and 30 speakers from around the globe and was supported by major regulators and certification bodies such as CEMILAC (Centre for Military Airworthiness Certification), ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India), NTG (Naval Technical Group), RDSO- Railways and TEC-Telecom.
