Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank, has been conferred the Certificate of Recognition for excellence in Corporate Governance by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), for the year 2015. The recognition has been instituted by the ICSI to identify, foster and reward the efforts by Indian companies in creating and establishing an atmosphere of good corporate citizenry. The Bank is among the top 5 companies across industries and the only Bank in the country to be bestowed with the honour.
