ICICI Bank organized 14 coin exchange melas in the city in last two months. These melas were organized at its branches in Bhamashah Mandi, Basant Vihar, Nayapura, Kota Junction, Patanpole, Talwandi, Mahavir Nagar, Subji Mandi, Industrial Estate, New Railway Colony, Shri Ram Nagar, Jhalawar Road, Kota city and Ramganj Mandi. The Bank has organised these coin exchange melas under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India.

 

ICICI Bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer free facility of exchanging acceptable soiled and mutilated currency notes with fresh currency and coins to the general public. It is a much-awaited event that receives an overwhelming response from people from all walks of life. Anyone can avail this facility free of cost.

 

These coin melas saw participation of around 600 people, where they exchanged coins worth Rs. 14 lakh in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.
