As we all know, every year on the 14th of November, we celebrate Children's Day. It is celebrated as it is the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary. Nehru was the first Prime Minister of the Independent India and he played a huge role in the Freedom Struggle.
Due to his love for children, we call him Chacha Nehru and we celebrate his birthday as Children's Day. He often wanted Children's to be responsible and pillars of the Nation. In most of the schools, they organize cultural performances and children exhibit various talents.
However, this year can be made even more special. Children can organize themselves and collect clothes, food and other usable products and donate it to other needy children who are of low financial status. Teachers can take their students on a field trip and allow them to explore as much as possible.
Why should teachers alone ask questions? Children can organize quizzes for the teachers and conduct it on the Children's Day. Also children can make a collage of their favorite teacher and present on the occasion.
