The state of telangana is in grip of dengue and viral fever. Recently three members of a family succumbed to dengue in a district of the state. There are numerous cases of dengue reported across the state. dengue and viral fever if left untreated could be life threatening. However few precautions can help in eradicating this deadly disease.
Dengue fever is caused by mosquito bites, it gradually starts with mild fever with joint pain, but if it is left untreated severe complications could arise. High mosquito habitat is highly prone to dengue and malaria.
A severe form and last stage dengue symptoms are severe internal bleeding due to high body temperature, sudden and huge drop in blood pressure, and drop in blood platelets resulting in death. Though initially symptoms can detect the disease for timely treatment. Visit the doctor if you have symptoms like high fever, cold and shivering, nausea and vomiting, and pain in behind eyes and joint.
However few precautions can help eradicate the disease in our surroundings. Always stay in well protected and air conditioned rooms, wear full and protective clothing, reduce the habitat of mosquitoes in the surrounding, use mosquito repellent to prevent bites from vulnerable and dengue causing mosquitoes.
