Usually Kids are heavily affected during winter season as their body's immunity level is very low and so they are prone to common cold, cough, flu, infections and viral fever. When people are affected by cold and cough immediately they take an allopathic pill as they get instant relief. But instead take herbal ingredients which are available in our house kitchen. Allopathic medicines are just pain killers and it doesn't eradicate the root cause of the disease.

 

Garlic is a powerful antioxidant when eaten raw as when we bite it the juice is called allicin which helps in preventing cold and heart problems. When you have pain in your throat immediately drink a cup of milk mixed with black pepper and turmeric. You can see quick recovery from sore throat and cold. Pepper when chewed slowly reduces painful throat and cough. Drink hot water and not cold water in times of severe cold and cough which comes in winter season.

 

Soups cure cold and cough faster and quicker. Moreover the preparation of soup is very easier and the result will be faster. Goat's leg’s is available in a butcher shop. Get it and take a pan, pour a spoon of oil, put little onion, leg pieces, and little turmeric, add pepper and jeera powder to it. Pour a glass of water and cook for ten minutes.  Add salt to it and drink the juice, which will give quick remedy from cold and gives stamina and energy in out body. You can try the same soup recipe with tomatoes, carrots, baby corn, chicken legs, and chest bone of a goat. Soups are easy to prepare and quick remedy from cough and cold.
