Excessive alcohol intake can be detrimental to anyone's health. Here are some of many ways it can harm your health Young Women Binge Drinking More The U.S Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently reported that one in five female high school students and one in eight young women commonly binge drink. The CDC classifies binge drinking as having four or more drinks in one sitting; others define it as drinking with the express purpose of becoming intoxicated. The study also found that about 14 million women and girls binge drink at least three times a month. Binge drinking trends among high school girls raises serious concerns.
