Eat Iron and Folic acid rich diet

Another common reason of irregular periods in women is anemia. Many Indian women suffer from iron and/or folic acid deficiency which work as a cause for irregular periods. So, if you have the same issue, make sure that you are taking a diet that is rich in iron and folic acid. According to studies, in many cases, improvements in period irregularities have been observed through cure of anemia.

Green Papaya

Eating unripe and green papaya can help you normalize irregular periods because it works as a good and strong emmenagogue and helps in proper contraction of muscles fibbers of your uterus. It is specifically beneficial for delayed periods associated with menopause. Eat unripe papaya for a couple of months and see the difference. Avoid consuming the same when having your periods.
