In a humanitarian gesture a business man from india in Dubai helped 13 prisoners fly to their homes, he bought tickets in coordination with Dubai police for all prisoners.

    A Dubai based Indian business man Joginder Singh Salaria helped 13 prisoners mostly from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia, he bought one way tickets for all prisoners after they were released from prison charged under petty crimes. Salaria is chairman and MD of a company in Dubai, he runs a charitable trust called Pehal charitable trust, he along with coordination of Dubai police entirely funded the operation.

      According to Salaria, these prisoners were under charge of minor crimes like Over-stay and minor scuffle with their respective employers. After release they didn’t had any money to fly back to their homes, Dubai police works in coordination with PCT and many other charitable trusts, after their tickets were bought they can fly back to the homes and families.

    Salaria is residing in uae since 1993 got connected to pakistan social workers through Facebook and other social media platforms to help out the stranded prisoners. The national newspaper of Dubai also reported this humanitarian gesture of Salaria.
