In an unusual incident in china a Cafe has painted dogs to look like Pandas, the video uploaded on Chinese social media platform Weibo has gone viral, although few animal activists has criticized the act of dyeing the dogs.
A cafe named Cute Pet Games in Chengdu province of china had become centre of attraction since they actually painted Chow Chow dogs in black and white to look like Giant Pandas, the cafe later uploaded the video on Weibo to attract customers, apart from serving Tea and Beverages they also offer ‘Pet Dyeing’ services to the customers.
Although Animal activists and PETA members from all over the world has slammed the act of Dyeing the dogs, according to them this could actually affects the skin and fur of the dogs. However the owner of the cafe has clarified the act by saying that paints are imported from japan, it doesn’t harms the dogs as it is non-toxic, the dogs are healthy and doing well after dyeing.
Reports of animal atrocities have came down drastically after amending the animals law in 2016, prior to this china has been heavily criticized for holding Dog eating festival. Atrocities against wild animals were also quite common in the country.
