It seems that there is no dearth of fraud and fake baba's in our country. The latest is from pune, where a 75 years old self-proclaimed godman and his son was arrested for having sex, filming, and later blackmailing the disciples.
A man named Nandkumar alias Bhau Vasant Bhagwat and son abhishek alias Charu was beaten and brought to police station by a 70 years old woman who was a disciple of them since last 15 years. The woman complained that both father son duo outraged her modesty in pretext of worship.
In 2010 both of them started having sexual intimacy with their disciples. The woman said, they use to touch me inappropriately many times. Reportedly they even asked her to chant some hymns while being naked, they filmed it, and later started to blackmail. The woman with the help of a friend gather courage to file a case in local police station.
According to police, the fraud godman use to force disciplines for sex, most of the disciples are facing domestic issues or childless unable to conceive, after recording the act, they used to blackmail. They are in police custody till 11th of november 2019.
