Vada Pav is the most delicious and is the favourite street food of many people across the country. Mumbaikars cannot live without eating at least one vada pav a day. Now largest vada pav created world record and there is no better way to do it celebrating World Vada Pav day today.
Chef Ajay Sood long with his cooking team of 25 team people celebrated World Vada Pav day by preparing the largest vada pav to be precise 145 feet long and all in a matter of just three hours.
Team of Limca Book of Records who were present at the event video graphed the entire event. Limca Book of Records spokesperson confirmed that they have noted the feat and will get it published in 2018 issue.
Gurgaon based Popular chain of restaurant Nukkadwala which serves delicious street food to many food lovers organised the event. Makers used 200kg of potatoes and bread to prepare the largest Vada Pav.
The longest 'Indian burger' was displayed at Vatika Business Park at Sector 49 here on Sohna Road. The team prepared for three days for the preparations and finally achieved the feat on world Vada Pav day.
More than 2500 vada pav lovers came to the event and later savoured the delicious taste of the largest vada pav. Gaurav Bhalla Managing Director of Nukkadwala speaking to scribes said “I think we take our street food like Vada Pav for granted "
He went on to add We wanted people to know about the World Vada Pav Day, so we decided to celebrate it in our very own unique Nukkadwala style. This is the reason we have created the world’s longest Vada Pav to celebrate the occasion.”
