Due to active southwest monsoon, Telangana will continue to receive more rains in coming days, the state is already witnessing heavy downpour since last one week.


Indian meteorological department (IMD) has extended heavy rainfall warning further to 27 September, many districts in state received heavy rainfall on Monday. The highest rainfall in tune of 80 mm was recorded in Jayshankar bhupalpally and sircilla on Sunday.


Continuous heavy downpour in many places of state have helped in gaining surplus rains so far,Telangana receives average rainfall of 720.7 mm, but it has received 730.8 mm, one percent surplus rainfall till date. According to IMD places like Nizamabad, jagtial, karimnagar, sircilla, peddapalli,bhupalpally, siddipet, warangal, mahbubabad, khammam, Nalgonda will receive isolated heavy to

very heavy rains.


There were moderate rains in city of hyderabad as well, many places recorded good rains, Alwal topped with rainfall of 57mm, followed by serilimgampally with 55 mm. Weather remained pleasant with generally cloudy sky and overcast conditions, the maximum and minimum were in comfortable level with 32 degrees and 24 degrees respectively.
