Tollywood has been entertaining Telugu audience from past 75 years. Many stars like NTR; ANR who proved were as heroes on and off screens and gave their contribution to the settlement of industry. Once Chittor Nagayya ruled the industry. Later NTR; ANR came into force. Followed by Kantha Rao; Sobhan babu; Krishna; Krishnam raju etc.

Later as time changed; new heroes entered industry with new storylines and action. In near eighties; Chiranjivi ; Balakrishna; Rajendra Prasad; Murali Mohan; Venkatesh; Nagarjuna have rocked the screens with their performances. After this yester year actors; new blood has flown with the names of Mahesh babu; Pawan kalyan; Allu Arjun; Junior NTR; Ram charan teja; Prabhas etc. New stories and movies are encouraged by upcoming heroes like Naga Sourya; Aadi; Varun teja; Nikhil; Nani; Raj tarun which showed a wide difference in their attitude and work compared to senior actors.

Pawan Kalyan:

Introduced as Chiranjeevi’s brother; Pawan kalyan got good opportunities in Telugu film industry but it is only his hard work; unique style and dedication which made him a star with huge fan following. Though Akkada ammai ekkada abbayi got flop; he knew the technique of getting success and attract audience. That is why every movie released by Pawan in 90’s is a big hit. Suswagatham; Tammudu; Kushi; Jalsa; Gabbarsingh; Attarintiki daredi are few of his block busters. No two movies made by Pawan are the same either in story or in action. Now fans are waiting for ‘Sardar Gabbar singh’.

Mahesh

Another hero introduced as star’s son is Mahesh babu. He came to industry at the age of 15 as a child artist. Few of his movies got flop in starting of his career. But soon he made a close bond with audience as ‘Murari’, family entertainer. With no time he could successfully attract youth with Okkadu. In his career of twenty years; he gave block buster hits like Atadu; okkadu; Pokiri; Business man. Now recently ‘Sreemanthudu’ has set a new trend in breaking records. This is a new story which represents one’s responsibility towards society.

Junior NTR:

Half of the film industry is filled with stars introduced by their family members. This is seen mostly in Nandamuri’s family. But only junior NTR got survived among all of them. Starting his film career with ‘Bala Ramayana’; he gave good decent hits and block busters. This earned him a great fan following. Out of them; Aadi; Simhadri; Yamadonga; Temper; Rakhee made him attract mass audience where student no.1; Brundavanam made him earn class audience. Now everybody is waiting for his 25^th movie ‘Nannaku Prematho’ going to be released in 2016. Another movie is going to be started in 2016 in Koratala Siva’s direction as ‘Janatha garage’.

Allu Arjun:                             

One of the prides of Telugu industry Allu Arjun started acting as a hero at the age of 19 itself by acting in ‘Gangotri’. Though is young; he takes wise decisions in selection of stories; directors etc. That made him a successful hero in a very young age. He started showing variations in movie to movie who we can find the difference in his first movie and recent movie. Arya; Arya-2; Bunny; Julai; Race gurram stood as milestones of his career. Every movie of Allu Arjun is a musical hit. People get an assured comedy which kept him safe side many a times. Recently he is working in ‘Sarainodu’ in Boyapati’s direction.

Prabhas:                         

He has done only few movies but reasonable and meaningful ones. Prabhas is no.1 hero of Tollywood at present because of ‘Bahubali’. Varsham; Chatrapathi and Bahubali are ever green movies of Prabhas. His dialogue delivery; Physic and height are main asserts for this hero’s success. Apart from this; Prabhas took a turn by Darling; Mr. Perfect; Mirchi etc which a family can sit together and enjoy watching. Ek Niranjan; Bujji gadu; Adavi Ramdu are few of his movies which are gifts for fans. Prabhas is apt for the character Sivudu and Amarendra Bahubali which no other hero from Bollywood or Hollywood can justify.

Ram Charan:                    

As a son of Tollywood’s top hero Ram Charan tried his best to entertain audience. But in the view of satisfying his father’s fans cum mass audience; he took few wrong steps. Soon he recognised and corrected by Magadheera; Racha; Naik; Govindudu andarvadele. Most of his movie has successfully joined in 40 crore club.

Akhil:                                   

Nagarjuna introduced his ‘Sisindri’ as ‘Akhil’ this November. He is famous as cricketer first and artist next. Inspite of great hard work and wide publicity this movie failed to entertain audience. But this is a common phenomenon for many of the actors who faced failures with the first movie. In fact these heroes have become no.1 in industry based on their hard work and dedication. Soon we can expect good hits from Akhil.

Raviteja:                             

Started as a character artist in many films; his journey travelled in very interesting way where he could make opportunities as hero. He has acted in different stories like Sindhuram; Neninthe; Sambho siva shambo which connects audience to real life; he did different movies like  Nippu; Power; Kick-2; Bengal tiger have reduced his average rate of success where ‘Sarocharu’ and ‘Balupu’ are  his recent success in 2014.
