'Mastizaade' is once again a sex comedy which faced lots of troubles before release. Milap Zaveri has crafted the project and it was funded by Pritish Nandy and Rangita Nandy. The film has Sunny Leone in the double role along with Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das in the lead role along with Suresh Menon and Shaad Randhawa. Genelia's husband Ritesh Deshmukh has done a cameo role too. The movie is once again a sex comedy and she has done dual roles. Once again, Sunny leone adds vulgarity instead of glamour. She has taken vulgarity to a new level. What happened to censors ? What can you expect in a sex comedy. A comedy of errors happen with Sunny in dual roles and the comedy is conveyed with 'Filth'.
Sunny Leone as Lily Lele/Laila Lele has taken the vulgarity to a new level. There is a thin line between glamour and vulgar. Sunny fails to understand it. She earned a good name after the CNN interview and now she spoils it as she herself confesses that she is what she is ! Tusshar Kapoor was an incredible performer. But all he does here was , drooling on Sunny's body. Sunny Kele chracterization was pathetic to the core. Vir Das as Aditya Chothia also fails. Profanity was shown everywhere. Ritesh Deshmukh tries to make a reference with 'Grand Masti'. Of course the movie has a cameo from the director Milap himself. Nothing more to brag about the rest of the cast.
The music for Mastizaade is composed by Meet Bros Anjjan, Amaal Mallik, and Anand Raj Anand. Sanjoy Chowdhury composed the background score for the movie. Songs are catchy. But with visuals they are more spicy. Nitin Rokade's editing was not linear. In fact, he was just focusing more on 'Flesh' that the script. Sanjay Gupta's cinematography never moves from Sunny's cleavage. (Like if we have never seen before!) Milap Zaveri already confessed he shot extra scenes as censor will chop them and leave the original version. Yep ! Such a clever writing. But these sex comedies doesn't need any intelligence Milap ! Bollywood is right now focusing more on Adult comedies. This trend is not a healthy one. Earlier Kya Super Cool hey ham, Grand Masti and Guddu Ki Gun movies tasted success. But that doesn't mean all movies can do the same. Riteish's cameo role as Love Guru who runs ‘Aurgasm Ashram' scores at places. But still the profanity is in extreme levels.
