'Pokkiri Raja' is a multi starrer project which features Jiiva and Sibiraj together. Sibiraj is doing role of an antagonist. Ram Prakash Rayappa of 'Tamizhukku Enn Onrai Aluthavum' fame directs the project. The movie is touted to be a commercial entertainer.
'Puli' fame P.T.Selvakumar funds the movie. Hansika does female lead and Harris Jayaraj scored tunes. PTS Film International banner has produced the movie under their production house. The movie recently faced red card and the release date is unknown at this instant.
In this case, the team is now planning to release the movie by March 4th. They prefer that date as board exams will start only after that. But as of now no amicable solution has popped up between the producer and theatre owners.
They still demand for the losses incurred during 'Puli' release. Now in this case, the movie is sent to censors today and the censor board has granted the movie a clean 'U'. Also due to this certification, the movie is now eligible for tax exemption.
