Editing is one of the most important department in film making and still most of them never understand the importance of it. KL Praveen who is a National award winner is now busy with Super Star Rajini's 'Kabalai'. He shares some of the interesting incidents about the movie.
In a recent interview he said, "Whenever a director shoots a movie, they don't shoot it in linear fashion. They shoot as per artist dates, availability of locations, time and so on. We try to arrange it in a linear manner.
I have already completed the first half of 'Kabali' and the second half will be done by this week. Teaser work also goes on and this teaser will not be more than a minute. My favourite sequence in 'Kabali' is the first fight as that establishes the character in the film. It is something which we have done carefully.
The first fight will show what he is and what he has done as a don. It will be a very short sequence, but they way he fights and his mannerisms after that and the dialogues which follow will just be mind blowing.
