If sources close to theri team are to be believed in the trade, it is said that Theri is a loss venture for Kalaipuli S Thanu, who is now gearing up for his next release Kabali. And it is also said that a part of remuneration amount for Vijay and director Atlee is still pending.
Loss of theri is said to be approximately INR 8 crores for Thanu. Adding that, the satellite rights of the film have not been confirmed yet and the team is eagerly waiting to sell the rights to a satellite channel!
Meanwhile, the pre-release business of Superstar's Kabali has reportedly touched Rs. 200 crores and the distribution rights for Telugu version is in huge demand. The asking price is said to be whooping Rs. 32 crores in Telugu.
