The controversial CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani was recently sacked and was replaced with lyricist Prasoon Joshi. Known for his chopping of kissing sequences from the James Bond film Spectre, removal of word intercourse from Jab Harry Met Sejal, giving 49 cuts for Udta Punjab, opposing usage of word lesbian in Dum Laga ke haisha, and giving A to Aligarh trailer for homosexual theme, to name a few, the man is now back in a new avatar.
Pahlaj, known for his Sanskari attitude is returning as the presenter with the upcoming Bollywood erotic thriller Julie 2 starring Raai Laxmi in lead role. The teaser of the film that was released recently, and the trailer released today have the sexy actress sizzling in a skimpy bikini, besides also going bare for few shots. With the film expected to have more such bold, hot sequences, Pahlaj getting associated with such a glamorous flick has sent shock waves in the industry.
However, Pahlaj Nihalani himself has revealed that he saw the film with his family and they all liked it, adding that it's a movie about how the industry forces good people to compromise and will inspire aspiring actors. He further said that Julie 2 must be certified A without any cuts. The sensational erotic flick, which is the sequel to Neha Dhupia starrer Julie (2004), is directed by Deepak Shivdasani and will be releasing on October 6.
