The ongoing pro Telangana and Anti Telanagana movements not only affected common people, business establishments, students and also the economy of the state brining down the Brand Hyderabad image down, but also Tollywood. Even though none of the heroes or filmmakers expressed their views for and against Telangana, even a small affiliation to any political party which made its views known or unknown on Telangana, faced the problem.
With Megastar Chiranjeevi being the Union Minister and he supporting division of the state, his son Ram Charan and brother Pawan Kalyan faced the ire of seemandhra protesters. Their films Yevadu, Attarintiki Daaredi, Toofan/Zanjeer shifted their release dates as protesters warned to stop the screening of their films.
Yesterday it was the turn of NTR as his father Harikrishna after supporting Telangana decided to support United Andhra Pradesh. Telangana supporters warned to stop screening of his films Rabhasa and Ramayya Vastavayya unless he supports Telangana. Many other heroes like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun may face problems but Rebel Prabhas is away from all the Rachcha.
With his Bahubali scheduled to release only after a year or so Rebel Prabhas is on safe side and now everyone is hailing his meticulous planning.
