Nandamuri Balakrishna, who was last seen scoring a decent success with his Sankranthi release Jai Simha, despite releasing with the huge flick Agnyaathavaasi, is currently acting in the prestigious project, the biopic of his father, former Andhra CM and actor NTR.
Directed by Krish who has previously made the historical blockbuster Gautamiputra Satakarni last year, the movie is being made in two parts, NTR Kathanayakudu focusing on NTR's acting career, and NTR Mahanayakudu focusing on NTR's political career.
While NTR Kathanayakudu plans a January 9 release for Sankranthi, the buzz is that the trailer of the movie will be released on December 25. NTR also stars Vidya Balan, Sumanth, Rakul Preet Singh,Tamannaah, Prakashraj, Kalyan Ram, Rana Daggubati, Malavika Nair and many others.
