2012 saw the release of Saattai, a movie based on the educational system and government schools, with a good teacher played by actor/ director Samuthirakani as the protagonist and was directed by debutant Anbazhagan.
Saattai starred Yuvan and Mahima Nambiar alongside Samuthirakani and the movie was a critically acclaimed as well as fairly commercially successful as well, and now, after directing another movie Rubai, Anbazhagan is all set for his next.
Director Anbazhagan's next is gonna be the sequel to Saattai, and this movie will also star Samuthirakani in lead role besides 18+ actress Athulya Ravi and Kannika Ravi as female leads and this sequel which began rolling yesterday has been titled as Adutha Saattai.
