URI The surgical strike the January 11 released movie directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, has been the talk of the town with its rave reviews and huge collections. Based on the 2016 Uri surgical strike conducted by the Indian army against Pakistani intrusion, this movie has already raked in more than 100 crores and is soon to hit 200 crores.
With the movie having a great run on screens, team URI recently played a prank on torrent users to curb piracy, as they had made a torrent file themselves, with a 3.8 GB file, and after downloading the file, the video begins with Uri's censor certificate, followed by a video featuring the lead pair Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam.
Vicky and Yami Gautam are seen trolling those who downloaded this particular print and followed by their 2-minute video, whole 2 hours of the 3.8 GB has URI trailer in the loop. Irrespective of pirated links of URI too already available on the internet, the movie team's strategy to spread out a message against piracy has been loved by Bollywood audience. But now the original print is out and the uploaders have trolled Yami and Vicky conveying the message that piracy cannot be eliminated.
