Music director turned actor Vijay Antony was last seen in the Ganesha directorial movie Thimiru Pudichavan costarring Nivetha Pethuraj and the cop movie about juvenile criminals was met with lukewarm response and after the movie, he has decided to only act and stop scoring music.
Weeks back his next movie Thamizharasan directed by Babu Yogeswaran who had previously made the flop Das with Jayam Ravi was started and this movie will have music by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. Even as his next movie Agni Siragugal is progressing he has signed his next.
Vijay Antony's next will be directed by Ananda Krishnan who had previously made Metro with Sirish about Chain snatching and Aal with VIdharth which was a remake of Bollywood movie Aamir, and also is doing Oxygen with Ashok Selvan. This movie of Vijay Antony is touted to be an action thriller. Kajal Aggarwal will be doing the female lead role in the movie.
