Actress Trisha had struck form with the last year released romantic entertainer 96 directed by Premkumar and is currently on a signing spree starring in movies alongside Simran, untitled movie with All in pictures, Garjanai, Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, Sathuranga Vettai 2 etc.
Now recently it was reported that the actress might be roped in to play the lead role reprising taapsee pannu's role in the recently released Bollywood super hit Badla's Tamil remake. It had been said that producer G Dhananjayan had bagged the remake rights.
The latest speculation is that the movie might be directed by feel good maker radha mohan who had previously directed her in the hit movie Abhiyum Naanum before many years. An official confirmation is awaited in this regard. Meanwhile Badla starring amitabh bachchan and directed by Sujoy Ghosh is inching close to 100 crores.
