Admirers of wide eyed Bihar beauty Sonakshi Sinha of Dabang fame (remade as Gabbar Singh in Telugu )is all set to enthrall the sizzle in the remake of Mahesh starter ten year old super hit Okkadu.Sonakshi has been the prime actress who has found acceptance in south Indian audience the trade experts say because of her heavy body set .
The film which was a turning point in Mahesh’s career and catapulted him to stardom is all set to be made into another action drama in Hindi. Reliable film industry sources say that Sonakshi Sinha will be stepping into the shoes of Bhumika Chawla in this remake against Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor in the role of Mahesh Babu.
Amit Mishra who shot to fame with Google re-union ad is all set to direct the remake and as per Sonakshi dates the film be on rolls of the floors by early 2014. The original version set in the backdrop of Charminar will remains in the Hindi version as well .Only the Kurnool background could be altered to suit the Hindi audience
