Tall and gorgeous actress deepika padukone will play the iconic role of Draupadi in her next flick called Mahabharat, the movie is helmed by Madhu Mantena's production house, the film will be made from Draupadi point of view, deepika will play the protagonist, the first part is scheduled to be released in 2021.
deepika recently turned producer with ‘Chappak', the film is based on real life character of acid attack survivor, reportedly the film is going to be directed by meghna gulzar of Raazi fame, Though she is super excited and has termed the Draupadi’s role as once in a lifetime role.
The film would be made in parts, and first instalment is set to be released in diwali 2021, Mantena has termed Draupadi as one of the most significant heroines of Indian cultural history. He is also super excited to be a part of it.
