It is known that victory venkatesh will be doing the remake of kollywood superhit flick asuran starring Dhanush. suresh babu and kalaipuli s thanu are jointly producing this film. The makers have not divulged any further details of this project. Buzz is that Young director Hanu Raghavapudi is confirmed as the film's director.
Hanu Raghavapudi is known to be a critically acclaimed director, but he did not have a single hit in his career. But Hanu will be able to do justice for a strong subject like Asuran. venkatesh fans are, however, not happy with this decision of suresh Babu. Also, they are in talks with shriya saran to play the female lead in this project.
shriya saran and venkatesh have worked together for a few movies such as Subash chandra bose (2005), tulasi (2007), and Gopala Gopala (2015). So, this will be the fourth film in their combination. venkatesh is currently busy dubbing for his next, venky Mama. The movie release date is yet to be confirmed. In all probability, the movie will hit the screens in december itself.
