National award winner actress Shweta prasad Basu name surfaced in 2014 sex scandal that shocked the entire nation. Reportedly she was caught red handed during a police raid in Banjara Hills, although she later denied her involvement in the scandal, she alleged that she was falsely framed in prostitution racket.
Many high-profile sex rackets unearthed in the country, politicians, bureaucrats, corporate honchos, and film celebrities were caught red handed in the past, popular tv actress Shweta Basu who appeared in many prominent daily soaps was one them. In 2014, her name surfaced in a high-profile sex racket in Banjara hills. She reportedly charged one lakh rupees per session, 15 thousands rupees was pimp's commission.
An assistant director of telugu films was also arrested in connection with the racket, Shweta was doing flesh trade for feeding her family. After that she was sent to rescue home, later when returned she denied her involvement in the prostitution racket. Session court in hyderabad gave her clean chit.
According to her, she went to hyderabad to attend an award show, but her fate took her into prostitution. She claims she did nothing wrong.
